AM/PM Service

An ideal service for non-urgent shipment that needs to be delivered the same day. Delivery made before 5:00 pm for a call received before 1:00 pm.

Terms of use

1. Weight correction

NAFKAL Express PTY Ltd. reserves the right to re-weigh shipments or recalculate the cube weight of 10.25 pounds per cubic foot. To calculate the cube weight, we multiply the width by the height by the length (length x width x height) in inches and divide the result by 5000. We then retain the highest weight between the actual weight or the cube weight.

2. Hazardous materials

Dangerous goods entrusted to transport must absolutely comply with the provisions of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act, which prohibits:

➢ Explosives

➢ Unprotected bottles

➢ Flammable or explosive radioactive materials

➢ Firearms / ballistic minutions

➢Infectious or contaminated substances packaged with other goods

➢ Waste

An additional fee of $25.00 applies per shipment of dangerous goods for all shipments authorized by Australia Dangerous Goods 7.6 code.

3. High weight or pallets (skids)

For high volumetric weights or pallet transportation, this requires a "truck call". For example, a surface area of between 1,600 and 4,700 square inches, or a total length of 6 to 8 feet, or 1.80 to 2.40 meters.

A minimum charge of $15.00 applies in addition of the cost of delivery. Truck calls are not available for economy services.

4. Waiting time

For a waiting time greater than 5 minutes at the pickup or delivery location, each additional minute is charged $0.50.

The pallet loading or unloading time is 15 minutes. Wait times greater than 15 minutes will be charged $1.00 for each additional minute.

5. Handling

Handling time is charged at $60.00 per hour, or $1.00 per minute. Use of the lift (tail-gate): 10.00$ per pallet, up to 50.00$.

6. Pick up (Can not be done)

If for reasons beyond our control, we are unable to provide the parcel pickup service (Example: there is no one at the address mentioned and we are unable to provide the service mentioned above), you will have to pay half the cost of the requested service.

7. Fuel Surcharge

Since October 2020 fuel surcharges have been implemented in the mail, logistics and transport companies.

Each delivery note or invoice is therefore subject to a fuel surcharge. Our operating costs are affected by fluctuations in fuel prices. This implies a constant revision of the fuel surcharge price on our part.

The rates applied are determined by the monthly edition of the national average price of diesel which includes (cent/litre, including GST) that you can consult on the website: Australian Institute of Petroleum.

8. Cash on delivery

NAFKAL Express can collect your payment (in cash or by check) following a customer order and ensure that it is returned to you in the service of your choice.

9. Delivery (Can not be done)

If for reasons beyond our control we cannot make delivery, the initial service is charged at the regular price indicated. If the same delivery is made several times at the same place, you will be charged an additional fee that will be at half price of the service in question..

10. Exceptions about services

Econo service is provided only for deliveries and not for pickups.

For deliveries and pick-ups outside regular service hours and at weekends, only the "Direct service" applies.

11. Liability

NAFKAL Express PTY Ltd. inadvertently accepts shipments containing glass, liquids, ceramics (or any other extremely fragile item), temperature sensitive items, personal items or prohibited items. Shipping will be at the risk of the sender and is not guaranteed and therefore will not be the subject of a claim in case of damage.

12. Limit on regular services

Territories and zones indicate the limits of our regular services. Outside these areas, the services are only available in Direct or 24 hours service. Price on request

13. Terms of payment :

Terms: Net 30 days.

Each invoice shall be paid in full when due. Invoices overdue by more than 20 days will be subject to a one-time fee of 5%. Additional fees will be charged for any cheque or electronic transfer that is dishonoured for any reason. These amounts are in addition to any other legal rights and remedies available to NAFKAL Express
